Mrs. Louise St-PierreChairman of the Board of Directors of the Place des Arts since March 2021, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to the Board this year.
Stacy Cavery is a senior digital marketing consultant at public relations firm CASACOM. She has solid experience in developing digital strategies and her vast knowledge of this universe gives her an integrated vision of current digital problems. She also sits on the IRCM Foundation’s communications committee and holds a master’s degree in e-commerce from the University of Montreal, as well as a degree in international trade.
Marc Gilbert is a CEO and senior partner in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he has practiced in consulting for more than twenty-five years. He runs an office in Montreal, focusing on improving the competitiveness of Quebec and Canadian companies nationally and internationally. Marc is the global head of geopolitics and trade implications in the practice of BCG Global Advantage. He is also an active member of industrial and consumer practices.
Marc is an active member of BCG’s Center for the Future of Canada, which aims to bring together leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector to make a difference. In this role, Marc helps move Canada forward by offering his knowledge and expertise to shed light on the most important issues in the country. He is also dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence in Canada, serving as a board member at Scale IA for more than three years. Prior to joining BCG, Marc worked at Merck & Co. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering from McGill University, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
Alain Michaud has been Chief Financial Officer at WSP Global since February 2020. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Operational Performance and Strategic Initiatives within the same organization. Prior to joining the WSP, Mr. Michaud was a senior partner at accounting firm PwC Canada for more than 20 years and a member of management teams in Canada and Quebec. Mr. Michaud holds a degree in business administration from the University of Sherbrooke. Mr. Michaud has also been appointed a member of the Order of Certified Professional Accountants of Quebec in 2022.
Veronique Rankin is CEO of Wapikoni mobile. Véronique nit icinikasonan Pikogan ka here nta8ikian acitc ka here opikian. (Véronique is an Anicinape woman from the Picogan community.) Before joining the Wapikoni team, she co-founded the Aboriginal organization Puamun Meshkenu with Dr. Stanley Vollant and was the CEO of the same organization. Since the beginning of her career, Ms. Rankin has mostly worked with Aboriginal organizations and the federal government. These positions have led him to gain solid experience in organizational development, risk management, as well as performance and quality management. Cultural security and the narrative sovereignty of indigenous peoples are at the heart of her approach to governing organizations. She also sits on the board of directors of Productions Menuentakuan and is a research associate at the Indigenous Public Administration Observatory at the National School of Public Administration. Ms. Rankin has a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the École nationale d’administration publique.

The Council of Ministers of the Government of Quebec also renewed the mandates of Mr. Peter BernierVice President of Finance and Corporate Services Processia Solutions, Ms. Annie DeromeVice President of Development and Procurement in Prével, Mr. Eric Gosselinlawyer and partner at McCarthy Tétrault, and Ms. Danielle Larameepartner and leader of the People Advisory Services Group (Canada) at Ernst & Young.
