JOB DESCRIPTION
the eCommerce Manager is the main point of contact and will also be responsible for on-site e-commerce. He will also be responsible for day-to-day operations for several e-commerce websites. This role is a key link between product, marketing, strategic partners, logistics and management team. This position develops and executes projects that support Dulcedo goals, meet assigned deadlines, within budget and meet key KPIs. Business responsibilities include business planning, resource alignment, and relationships with the consulting agencies we work with. This position requires strong project management skills, collaboration, communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to provide information on potential risks and opportunities. Not a typical 9 to 5 job, this role requires someone who doesn’t count the hours, especially at the time of starting new projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING:

  • Manage e-commerce features including content, format, inventory and ensure good quality
  • Monitor the online user experience, including researching customer support orders and inquiries, coordinating transactional and relational emails, providing frequently asked questions, monitoring digital properties, and managing all post-service activities.
  • Responsible for maximizing site revenue and maximizing sales / cross-selling / AOV
  • Execute projects that support Dulcedo business goals
  • Ensure the management and success of proposed projects
  • Deadlines, scope, budgets, communications, quality, problems, risks, critical thinking and resource constraints
  • Update project plans at any time
  • Monitor the process of projects, other activities and be able to identify potential problems and anticipate actions that would lead to solutions
  • Prepare on / off checklists and create contingency plans
  • If necessary, put the files in priority due to certain delays or problems that you have to report to the director
  • As needed, share project priorities and workload with internal stakeholders and other team members
  • Work with Dulceda CEOs to ensure marketing efforts and optimize potential customer generation
  • Conduct an evaluation after the project and discuss lessons or other learned aspects
  • Stay up to date with current e-commerce trends and opportunities
  • Other tasks will be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce project management
  • Good understanding of current e-commerce trends and practices
  • Experience in making project plans, process diagrams, use cases, functional and technical requirements
  • Solid experience in e-commerce and marketing
  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of common eCommerce and CRM platforms (eg Shopify, WooCommerce, Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of project management tools (eg ClickUp, Teamwork, Asana, Monday)
  • He must be a team player, a strong person who is able to work independently and in a team
  • Have interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with talents / influencers, designers, web developers and management team
  • Problem solving skills: thorough, creative and practical
  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, commerce, or another advanced degree would be an advantage
  • Knowing French would be an advantage
  • The ability to write texts as needed would be an advantage
