Decathlon has launched a new service in partnership with startup Lizee, winner of last year’s Fevad Start Me up competition, which offers better accessibility to its camping products while guaranteeing their durability. Instead of buying camping equipment, customers can rent tents. The service was tested in April 2020 and then became available everywhere in France in May 2021. The company wants to continue this service in France in 2022 and duplicate it in Belgium as well as in other countries in the years to come.

Happy coffee is a cafe-restaurant company that has a specialty in the employment and training of people with mental or cognitive disabilities. The first Café Joyeux opened its doors in December 2017 in Rennes, and since then 5 more have opened in Paris, Bordeaux and Lisbon. In order to finance the opening of cafes, a brand of coffee beans was launched for individuals and companies. In 2022, the company wants to open 6 new cafes, and in the coming years will open more internationally.

The award was presented by Sophie Cluzel, the Prime Minister’s Secretary of State in charge of people with disabilities.

The jury also awarded the prize for the best hope in e-commerce to the three winners. This award highlights the locations that are most promising in the eyes of the jury. In its judgment, the Jury takes into account the personality of the project leader and the capacity of the teams to develop and support it. This award is an important springboard for winners because it offers them special visibility among ecosystem actors and is often a real growth accelerator.
