Dakar: Bayt Mal Al-Quds received a particular award on the seventeenth OIC Honest

Dakar – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Muhammad VI, won the special award of the 17th edition of the Fair for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries, for outstanding participation in this event. held from June 13 to 19 in Dakar.

Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency participated in this event, organized at the exhibition center of the International Center for Foreign Trade of Senegal (Cices) in Dakar, with a stand visited during the opening ceremony by the Senegalese Minister of Livestock and Animal Production, Mr. Aly Saleh Diop, accompanied by Ambassador N.V. King in Senegal, Mr. Hassan Naciri, and Ms. Latifa El Bouabdellaoui, Director General of the Islamic Center for Trade Development (CIDC).

It should be noted that the stand of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency during this event noted the influx of visitors who came to learn about the mission of this Agency and its activities and important services offered for the benefit of the holy city of Al-Quds.

Indeed, the Agency is working on the implementation of social projects in the city of Al-Quds with the aim of contributing to the protection of the holy city, the preservation of its religious heritage and its civilization and the support of its inhabitants.

The projects implemented by the Agency relate to the sectors of education, health, housing, culture, sports, women’s empowerment, youth and childhood, with a social assistance program for people in insecure situations and people with special needs.

As part of the stand of the 17th Dakar Fair, the Agency presented to the public the Trade and Marketing Platform (Dlala Marketstore), made available to associations, professional organizations and Al-Quds traders for the placement of Palestinian heritage, handicrafts and handicrafts, in addition to religious tourism and products. Palestinian heritage.

This is an electronic platform that will help promote goods and products of Palestinian origin in Al-Quds, bring the work of holy city producers closer to Arab and international markets and give them the opportunity to publish and present their products in an optimal way for those who requested them. consumers, individuals or groups.

More than 20 awards were given this Friday by the organizers of this 17th fair, held under the theme “Facilitating trade within the OIC: What instruments for trade development”.

The first prize for the best stand was awarded to Saudi Arabia, while the Moroccan pavilion, equipped by the Moroccan investment and export development agency “AMDIE”, won the second prize for the best stand.

The organizers took as criteria the area of ​​the stand, the number of delegations participating in the event and the variety of products exhibited at this fair.

As for the Gambia, it won the 3rd prize for the best stand of this commercial event co-organized by the Casablanca-based Islamic Center for Trade Development (ICDT) and the Islamic Center for Trade Development of Senegal (ICDT)

The award ceremony was held in the immediate vicinity of the Moroccan Pavilion, in the presence of Ms. Latifa El Bouabdellaoui, Director General of the ICDT, Ambassador N. V. King of Senegal and Mr. Salihou Keita, Director General of the International Center for Foreigners Trade of Senegal.

Organized from 13 to 19 June at the Cices Exhibition Center in Dakar, the fair is part of investment promotion and the development of partnerships in OIC member countries.

The event was marked by the organization of “Morocco Days” last Tuesday, which began with a ceremony of raising national colors to the sounds of the Kingdom’s anthem, at the International Center for Foreign Trade of Senegal.

The 17th International Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation provides an opportunity for exhibitors from 57 member countries to discuss ways and means to increase trade.

The organizers counted on more than 10,000 professional visitors to this fair, organized on an area of ​​20,000 m2, including more than 8,000 m2 of dedicated exhibitions.

In addition to the fair, ICDT and CICES organized the Forum of Investment Promotion Agencies (API), the OIC-Senegal Investment Forum with room offers, a knowledge economy workshop and HALAL food certification for African countries.
