“Short” digital training
Among the short courses leading to digital professions, Complementary Mention (MC) Digital services to organizations aims to acquire skills in digital business solutions.
Among BTS in informatics, the BTS Digital Systems (registration on Parcoursup – also available on the work study program) it takes two years to prepare. Two possible options:
- “Computing and Networks” which trains for the professions of administration, security and network programming;
- “Electronics and Communications”, more oriented towards the development of interconnected facilities in industry.
GOAL, license or master, university education in digital
You can also opt for a university degree in technology (BUT), registration via Parcoursup. Among the GOALS leading to digital professions:
- Computer science;
- Statistics and business intelligence;
- Multimedia and internet professions;
- Networks and telecommunications;
- Information and communication option Digital information in organizations;
- Electrical engineering and computing.
Graduate courses in “Informatics” and “Mathematics” are the entrance path to the master (“MIAGE”, “Digital Communications” …) or entrance exams to engineering schools.
How to join a digital school?
Several engineering cycles are being prepared for the digital professions : enrollment by competition for most schools, postgraduate with two years of integrated preparation followed by an engineering cycle; or post-preparatory MPSI or MP2I and request bac + 2 competitions.
Business schools offer specialization courses, especially in digital marketing or data management. These facilities are available through a competition.
Schools specializing in IT and digital technology offer three-year bachelor’s degrees to become designers, maintenance technicians, or assistant project managers. Make sure the training is recognized by the state and registered with the RNCP.
finally, art schools are preparing for digital creativity, animation, video gamesetc.
Reorient yourself without the prerequisites for a degree
Launched in 2015, the Grande école du numérique (GEN) is a network of 300 training courses registered with the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certification) in order to meet the needs of companies as much as possible. Short training courses, without prerequisites for a diploma (ideal for professional reorientation), in order to quickly respond to the requirements of recruiters for certain deficient occupations.
