BMO Capital Markets trading rooms in Toronto, New York and London are promoting the 18th Annual Trading Day Education Program to provide financial assistance to students

MONTREAL, NEW YORK and LONDON, a September 16, 2022 /CNW/ – BMO Capital Markets will host the 18e annual business day of its action learning program on 20 September 2022 at its business premises in Toronto, New York and London. Each year, BMO donates full-day equity trading commissions to institutional investors in North America and Europe charitable organizations that provide scholarships, bursaries and leadership development programs for post-secondary students.

Action-Education’s partners are The Jackie Robinson Foundation, Imperial College London, Indspire, Lime Connect, Loran Scholars Foundation, The Children’s Aid Foundation of Canadathe Women in Capital Markets Return to Bay Street program, and the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), which has been mentoring and training students for 20 years through its FWA/BMO Capital Markets Mentoring Program at Baruch College.

This year, BMO added a new partnership with social mobility charity The Brokerage to provide two students each year with post-secondary scholarships and internships at BMO’s London, UK office. Over the past 25 years, The Brokerage has helped more than 85,000 students, many of whom come from black, Asian or ethnic backgrounds, by providing education, mentoring and other opportunities.
